Why I loved Photographing the greenhouse
The Greenhouse on Harvard has been one of my favorite wedding venues to date. Hidden among the fields and prairies of Rockford, Washington, it is a bright and airy venue. Between the ceremony in the late afternoon and the reception around the vintage bus, this venue is perfect for anyone looking to embrace the outdoors in a natural and beautiful way.
The wedding ceremony was held on a beautiful afternoon in late September surrounded by golden fields and distant mountains. It was a warm sunny day, which gave the greenhouse the perfect chance to shine by letting in natural light during the reception. Green was the dominant color woven throughout the personal touches chosen by Seth and Hannah, which enhanced the natural beauty of the greenhouse.
Also featured on the property was a restored vintage bus, decorated with string lights with room to party on top. In the evening, once the sun had set, we got group pictures inside the bus with a photo dash, each group coming in to get a picture before shuffling out and making room for the next group. That was so much fun and ensured the bride and groom got pictures with every person attending.
The overall atmosphere was such a fun and relaxed experience, with room to sit on outdoor couches and socialize, and a croquet course set up in the yard. It was the perfect way to spend the rest of the evening at this beautiful summer wedding in Eastern Washington.
