Congratulations!

You've Booked a photographer for your wedding!

Now what?

Booking

My process involves chatting with the couple and figuring out how many hours they are looking for coverage. I have a flexible approach because every wedding day is different and I want to get the coverage that best fits your wedding plan. That is why in addition to the set packages on my website, I have the option for a custom package with the hours that you need.

Once the amount of coverage has been established, I send a contract and invoice for a deposit to secure the date. Once both have been fulfilled, the date is secured and you have booked me for your wedding!

One Month Out

Once you are a month out from the wedding, the remaining amount of the invoice is due, and I will send out a questionnaire. The questionnaire will give me all of the details of your wedding day, from the order and locations of events to a list of vendors helping throughout the day. Having all of the information, especially timelines and locations, is a necessary part of being able to do the best work I can for your day.

After the questionnaire has been completed, I receive it and answer any questions you might have for me. Otherwise, I will see you on the day of the wedding!

Day of the Wedding

The big day has arrived! Whenever you have me arrive for the wedding, whether it is during the getting ready time or right before the ceremony, I will be there to start coverage when I get there. The day will follow your planned timeline, while I get planned photos and candid alike. There will be time to get family photos and group pictures with you and everyone you have chosen to be a part of this special day.

My coverage will last for as long as you have hired me, whether this means partly through receptions, through dancing, or all the way to a planned, or unplanned, send off.

It is my job to be flexible and able to move around your day as needed, adapting to unexpected changes or delays as they come, and adjusting my own plan accordingly.

Post-Production

If you have hired me for six hours or longer, you will receive a handful of sneak peek pictures delivered to you within 48 hours of your wedding day. Otherwise, your gallery will be delivered in 2 to 4 weeks.

My editing process involves hand culling the pictures I take throughout the day, eliminating any that have closed eyes or unwanted blur, keeping the ones that you will love. After culling down the pictures to be edited, I will go through and hand edit each one, making sure the lighting is balanced, the colors are correct, and each photo reflects the spirit of the wedding day.

Your photos will be sent to you in an email with a link to the gallery where you can view it yourself, marking any photos private that you wish to keep to yourselves, before sending the gallery to friends and family. In the gallery, you can download the pictures, mark your favorites, and order prints through the built-in store.

Delivery

Once your pictures are delivered, they are yours to share and cherish forever.

Feel free to post them anywhere and everywhere, keep them all to yourselves, or print them out and hang them around your house to celebrate your love as a newly married couple!

If this sounds like something you are interested in, please feel free to reach out to me and we can start planning for your day!
